Retirement Planning

There are a few basic steps to setting up a retirement plan. You will need to carve out some savings, set up an account to put them in, and choose a few reasonable investments to help your savings grow. There are many more details, but the key is to get going on your saving, and the rest can follow in due time. As you expand your knowledge and confidence, you can fine tune your plan in many ways, all of which we cover here.

Saving and Spending

None of us can achieve a comfortable retirement without saving; and we can’t save without controlling our spending. So, we will address the key drivers around spending and saving. It all rolls together, and we will unwind it to make it manageable.

Investing

Investing is a topic that can be extremely complicated. Or not. We take the simple approach by distilling it down to a couple of basic concepts. They will be easy for you to understand, and just as easy to implement. The financial services industry spends an inordinate amount of time talking about topics like asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment selection, risk tolerance. All good stuff. But if you are looking for a way to cut through the jargon and keep things simple (though still fundamentally sound), you are in the right place.
